Cumberland High School (Rhode Island)

Cumberland High School is a public school located in Cumberland, Rhode Island.  Established in 1962, it currently schools about 1,600 students.  It is headed by principal Steven Driscoll.

Cumberland High houses departments in English, Mathematics, Sciences, History, Languages, Special Education, and Fine Arts.

[edit] Extra-Curriculars

Extra-curricular activities play an important part in students' life at Cumberland High School.  The school hosts approximately 28 clubs and co-curricular activities as well as over 20 sports for girls and boys. The track and cross country teams consistently place among the top teams in the state. The swim and wrestling team also do very well every year. The Boys' Cross Country Team won the State Championship in 2004. The Cumberland Debate Team does well, winning the State Title a few years ago.
