Cucullata (elm cultivar)

The Smooth-leaved Elm U. minor subsp. minor cultivar Cucullata was listed by Loddiges (Hackney, London) in the catalogue of 1823 as U. campestris cucullata, and later by Loudon in Arb. Frut. Brit. 3: 1378, 1838, as U. campestris var. cucullata, having "leaves curiously curved, something like a hood."
