[edit] Characters

[edit] Principal characters

  • Cubitus: Hero of the series, he is a white dog with a serious embonpoint, a black tuffe and a yellow tail. Initially a dog quadruped with hair falling over his eyes, Cubitus ended up becoming more anthropomorphic, behaving almost entirely like human: he goes on two legs, with hands in the place of legs, and can do all that human can.
  • Semaphore: former sailor who is now retired and "Master" of Cubitus, even if sometimes the relationship of master to dog can be reversed. In the series Semaphore's role is mainly to do inventions that are supposed to help his friends but in the end lead to trouble.
  • Seneshal: neighbor and Cubitus' worst enemy, a black cat.

[edit] Recurring characters

  • Ventenpoupe: an old friend of Semaphore, swindler and likes to encrust himself.
