Crystal Tipps and Alistair

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Crystal Tipps and Alistair was a British cartoon produced by the BBC featuring a girl (Crystal Tipps) and her dog (Alistair).

Crystal Tipps and Alistair was a 50 episode animation originally broadcast in the 1960s and 70s. It was created by Hilary Hayton and produced by Q3 of London. Fifty, five minute episodes were made as well as an additional 20 minute christmas special.

The graphic style makes this a unique non-verbal animated series about four friends - Crystal Tipps, Alistair, Birdie and Butterfly. These gentle erudite stories are accompanied by a full musical soundtrack composed by Paul Reade.
