Cryptoclidus |
Cryptoclididae is a family of medium size plesiosaurs from the Middle Jurassic to the late Cretaceous.
They had long neck, broad and short skulls and densely packed teeth. They fed on small soft-bodied preys such as small fish and crustaceans. Cryptoclidus is the best known genus and is featured in the BBC classic Walking with Dinosaurs.
