[edit] Song information

"Cry Baby Cry" was the third U.S. single and the second international single from Santana's album All That I Am. It was also the fourth international single from Sean Paul's third album The Trinity, although it did not appear on the original version of the album, only on the re-release that contained a bonus disc with the track. The song does not feature on any Joss Stone album.

The single was released in the UK on May 8, 2006 and was the biggest hit from Santana's album, despite peaking at a disappointing number seventy-one on the UK Singles Chart and spending only one week inside it. However, it was bigger than the previous single, "Just Feel Better", which missed the singles chart completely. It was the smallest hit from Sean Paul's album though and his first single to miss the UK top forty and was also the first single to miss the top forty for Joss Stone. It is not widely regarded as a Sean Paul single, despite him being the main performer on the track, as it did not feature on the original version of The Trinity. Instead, it was added as a bonus track on the bonus disc on the re-release of the album on June 13, 2006.

[edit] Music video

The video is simple. We can see Sean Paul in a black wall singing, and footage of women crying. Joss Stone doesn't appear in the video.
