[edit] A note on British English

British English should be used for articles on Britain related topics. Likewise, American English should be used on articles pertaining to American topics. For a clearer example, please visit this sub-section on the differences between their usage. --Siva1979Talk to me 01:29, 18 September 2006 (UTC)

[edit] A note on Manual of Style

I have made a minor edit (but an important one which quite a few users are unaware of, including me!) with regards to the sub-heading of External links. According to this page, the external link section should always have the term of External links. If all articles in Wikipedia were to follow this style, the articles in this project would be more consistent in MOS format, raising the professionalism of this encyclopedia. Granted, this may seem such an unimportant observation on my part to some users, but if the idea of consistency is not followed as close as possible, new users and outsiders of the Wikipedia community would take this encyclopedia less seriously. In my humble opinion, it is the observance of these minor detalis that seperate the elite encyclopedias to the good ones. --Siva1979Talk to me 01:30, 18 September 2006 (UTC)
