There is a lot on this page which is unreferenced. "The richest gold seam in Europe"? Says who? Evertype 09:09, 18 June 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Further reading
I deleted the following because the bibliographical reference isn't complete, and it's very commercial-sounding. I have not seen the book. Maybe it's marvellous. Can we get full bibliographical details?
- Croagh Patrick-An Ancient Mountain Pilgrimage is a book detailing every aspect of the mountain. Written by Mr. Harry Hughes, it is available in any of the local bookshops in Westport or in Teach Na Miasa at the foot of the mountain. Also, a new photographic book was published last year. Edited by Mr. Harry Hughes, it shows many visual aspects of the mountain and a variety of images to do with the mountain. This book was launched to coincide with the centenary of the building of the church on the summit and came about after two photographic competitions were held locally.
