[edit] Summary
Altered form of heraldic Cross Pattée (Pattee, Patty, Formy), with parallel straight lines near the center. Well-known in continental European heraldry (and so called a cross pattee in Rudolf Koch's classic "Book of Signs", see Image:Cross of the Knights Templar.svg for a variant form), but perhaps not a cross pattee in English terminology.
