"Crowded" is a 2006 R&B song released as the first official radio single from Jeannie Ortega's debut album, No Place Like Brooklyn. A remix of the song will be released soon, produced by popular producer Stargate. The beat of the song was played at the 2006 MTV Video Music Awards as the entrance music when Queen Latifah came to the stage to present an award. The song also features popular underground rapper Papoose. The song was not a major success, however it did chart on the Hot 100 and did well on Pop 100 Airplay.

[edit] Song Information

The song is about a man that is clingy to Jeannie. She sings "It's getting crowded in here, get up off me." Papoose is the other "man", and he doesn't understand why he can't have his cake and eat it too.

[edit] Music Video

The music video for this single was shot in a popular bar, with many people, to the point of being crowded. The video featured an appearance from rapper Remy Martin. The video did enter MTV'S TRL.

[edit] Charts

The song had great airplay on Z100.
