Crowcroft

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Crowcroft is a small hamlet just outside Leigh Sinton in Worcestershire, England. The main industry for the area is fruit growing, particularly for local cider and perry businesses. Crowcroft has been the site of a traditional annual bonfire for many years, held on Lamberton lands. The origins of the bonfire celebration are uncertain but are believed to be pagan and may predate the November the 5th Guy Fawkes tradition, despite being held at a similar time of year.
