Crossmark
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Crossmark is a flexible, lightweight textual markup language, based on the earlier Markdown language. It has a syntax similar to Wiki and support for embedded macros, typically written in Python. Crossmark was designed to be used as the preferred markup language for the One Laptop per Child project.
As of March 2007, the crossmark specification is under development. The latest public version is version 4.
