Crossmaglen Rangers G.A.C are a Gaelic football club from Crossmaglen in County Armagh, and are current holders of the All-Ireland Senior Club Football Championship. The Club was founded in 1905 and play in Black and Amber colours. Their home football ground is St. Oliver Plunkett Park which was opened in 1959. The occupation of the grounds in 1971 of an Royal Ulster Constabulary barracks and a British army observation post to combat republican terrorism and criminality started a saga of confrontation and conflict between the Rangers Club and the Army which has prevailed ever since.
The men's senior team won the All-Ireland Club title in 1997, 1999, 2000 and 2007.
The club fields underage teams from U-10 to U-21 as well as Senior and Junior teams. There are Ladies football and a Camogie team which have achieved a lot of success in recent years.
On the 24th September 2006 the club won their 11th Armagh Senior Club Football Championship in a row, defeating Lurgan Clan na Gael, a record in Armagh and a feat which has made them the envy of clubs not just in Armagh but throughout Ireland. Their minor team defeated Pearse Ogs of Armagh in the 2006 Championship final to claim back to back county titles making it a clean sweep for Cross for two years in a row.
They currently hold the record for the most Armagh Senior Championships with a tally of thirty five.
