[edit] Biography

The Company was founded by Greg Szemiot and friends in 1999. Their first game idea was Orb, which they started developing in 2001. It was originally planned for the PC, but CSE designers felt the controller for Wii would work great for this game. CSE currently has 24 people working on Orb and have met with publishers at E3 2006, including Nintendo. CSE showed screens from a PC build at E3 2006 and aim for a playable Wii build at E3 2007. They also have two side projects, Thorn, Greg Szemiot's mysterious futuristic action-adventure game, and Midnight Greg Nichols's dark sinister horror/adventure project involving the occult. They are now hoping for a Wii development kit.

Though CSE has a website, controversies have sprung up among those closely following the company as to whether or not they will actually produce any material. Arguments have broken out on the site's forums among those demanding some sign that Orb is moving forward.

[edit] Problem

Crossbeam Studios is having a problem with their games. They lack to important things. One of which is a publisher. Several fans have said that they think the ideas have been scraped because of this.[citation needed]
