Cronacle is a software solution for the management of job scheduling and process automation across distributed operating system environments such as Unix, Linux, Windows, Java and OpenVMS.

Cronacle was developed by Redwood Software in 1993 and is based on the use of business events to drive IT workload rather than more traditional time date based scheduling.
