Crompton Moor is an area of moorland in the Pennine hills of northern England. It lies along the northeastern outskirts of Shaw and Crompton, in the Metropolitan Borough of Oldham, Greater Manchester.

Most of Crompton Moor is covered in Heather, but there is also a significant amount of Pine trees.

Crompton Moor is the site on which the first evidence of human activity in the Shaw and Crompton area comes from. Iron Age artifacts were discovered by local archeologists.[citation needed]

Crompton Moor also features Crow Knowl Telecommunications station/mast, which in conjunction with an Ordnance Survey geographic triangulation marker (at grid reference SD960105), sits at the very summit of Shaw and Crompton, overlooking Denshaw and other parts of Greater Manchester.

Crompton Moor has been the site of several wildfires. A large fire occurred during the mid-1990s. Another took place in March 2007, also.
