From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

University of Illinois at Chicago, Chicago State University and University of Chicago each deserves their own diambiguation page. I can't think of a way to shorten the disambiguation page for every university containing Chicago in it "For other unaffiliated universities also located in Chicago, see the University of Chicago, Chicago State University, ... so on." The disambiguation page is precise and contains what is relevant. School pride is also important to me, but pride should not get in our way of contributing to Wikipedia. Encyclopedias should be clear on the confusion itself. With UPenn and PennState, they each link to each other. With UIC, UofC, CSU, and even possibly CityCollegesofChicago, the length of the explanation of disambiguation is too long to be put in an article. Due to the length, they deserve mentioning on a separate page. I added the neighborhood of each school on the disambig page which is more aidful when explaining the differences.
