[edit] Story
As the detectives are investigating the murder of an embalmer, the discover a plot involving unburied bodies and a hired hitman.
A key plot element is a fraudulently-operated crematorium. The disclaimer at the beginning of the episode says it was inspired in part by real events. The real event was likely the then-recent national news story of the Tri-State Crematory, which had been stacking bodies for several years rather than cremating them. Beyond this plot device, the news story and this episode had no apparent common elements.
