The Crixás Ufo Incident took place on August 13, 1967, in the city of Crixás, Goiás, Brazil. The incident involved confrontation between a farmer and some beings of unknown origin.
Inácio de Souza, a foreman of a farm in the city of Crixás, was going back home in the afternoon. When he arrived, he met his wife. Both hadn't noticed anything strange, until looking at the field next to the house, on which there was a runway.
There, according to what the foreman’s wife Maria said, a huge disc-shaped craft was parked. Next to the craft there were three human-like creatures wearing yellow clothes.
The beings noticed the presence of the foreman and his wife, and when one of them pointed in their direction, the beings started running towards them. At that moment, the foreman ordered his wife to get inside the house. He took his Winchester that he always carried on his shoulder and shot the closest being in the head.
At the same moment he fired, a green light ray was emitted from the craft and hit Inácio in the chest, making him faint.
Intending to protect him, Maria took the gun, but the beings were already boarding the craft. The craft then left going upwards in a vertical fashion.
Inácio was taken quickly to a hospital. He died 59 days after, possibly from leukemia. There was no blood found at the spot the being was shot by Inácio .
