Critical Software Technologies Ltd was registered in November 2004, and is the UK subsidiary of Critical Software SA. The company is located at Chilworth, Hampshire, on the Science Park of Southampton University. Target markets are high-integrity systems in the aerospace and transport sectors in the UK and elsewhere in Northern Europe.
The group's growth has been sustained at a compound annual rate of 50%+, and group staff numbers reached 200 early in 2006. Approximately 70% of the group’s revenue is from contracts outside Portugal. Its customers include Siemens, Vodafone, EADS, Agusta Westland and Deutsche Telekom among others. The client list also includes an international list of public sector bodies including the European Space Agency and NASA, work for the latter leading to the establishment of a US subsidiary in 2000.
The company has a solid track record of on-time and on-budget projects and has successfully released technologies and products worldwide in specific niche markets such as dependability and high-performance computing.
Critical Software operates a quality system accredited to ISO9001:2000 with Tick-IT and CMMI Level 3 (accredited May 2006).
