Cristian Rodriguez (born September 30, 1985 in Montevideo) is an Uruguayan footballer, who usually plays as an Attacking Midfielder for Paris Saint Germain. Rodriguez has previously played for Penarol in the Uruguyan Primera Division from 2002 - 2005. He earned the nickname "cebolla" (onion) by Penarol supporters because it appears as though he makes defenders cry. [1] He made the switch to PSG at the end of 2005 and made 4 starts and 7 substitutions in Ligue 1 matches.
