Cristian Daminuţă (born February 15, 1990 in Timişoara) is a Romanian football player, currently under contract at FCU Politehnica Timişoara. He is a promising defensive midfielder, having made his debut in the Divizia A 2005/2006 season, against arch-rivals Dinamo Bucharest. He is widely regarded as the leader of his generation, by both staff and media.[citation needed]

Daminuta is a Romanian U16 international.
