Creativity and Innovation Day

Creativity and Innovation Day or CID/Idea Week project was founded on June 1, 2001 by Jacynthe Bédard, Paul Rousseau, Marci Segal, John Sedgwick, - volunteer faculty members at the annual Creative Problem Solving Institute.

Every person is endowed with the ability to use knowledge, imagination and evaluation to create new and meaningful solutions to meet the challenges we face.

To encourage people all over the world to use their creative capacities to make the world a better place and to make their place in the world better too.

The first celebrations, April 21, 2002, were held in Chicago, San Diego, Rio De Janeiro, Paris, Hamilton, Ontario, Toronto and Amsterdam.
Idea Week - (April 15-21) and CID 2003 witnessed over 50 events involving more than 1000 people.
