The Creative Zen V and the Creative Zen V Plus is a 1.5" screen digital audio player from Creative Technology. The first Zen Vs were produced in 2006; and it currently competes in the DAP market against the iPod Nano, SanDisk Sansa series, and iRiver players, among others. The user interface on this player, the same as the one on Creative's award-winning Zen Vision M was patented by Creative on January 9, 2005 ^[1] Creative has sued Apple over the use of this user interface, winning $100 million ^[2] The Zen V Plus has accumulated many awards, including CNET Editor's Choice for June 2006.^[3] The only two differences between the two players is video playback and FM radio: the Zen V Plus supports them, while the Zen V does not.
