Creation Mandate
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Creation Mandate[citation needed] generally refers to the command given in Genesis 1:26-30, specifically v. 28, "God blessed them, and God said to them, "Be fruitful and multiply, and fill the earth, and subdue it; and rule over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the sky and over every living thing that moves on the earth," (NASB)
It is similar to the Cultural Mandate but differs in that it is sometimes used to refer to the Christian's responsibility to care for the earth.
