Incidentally I reverted your edit to George W. Bush because unless you have a clear reference that states that this nickname is generally used pejoratively it's stating an opinion that does not fit Wikipedia's neutral point of view. -- Francs2000 12:39, 7 January 2006 (UTC)

[edit] re: meanings of what i wrote
The problem is that you are going to have to explain that to EVERYBODY. Remember this is an international encyclopedia, so there is an international audience. Do not assume that readers will be familiar with the abbreviations that you are using. That is why it is repeatedly said in Wikipedia's manual of style to avoid acronyms and abbreviations. [edit] Image copyright problem with Image:ElectoralCollege1960modernizedcolors-Large.png
Thanks for uploading Image:ElectoralCollege1960modernizedcolors-Large.png. The image has been identified as not specifying the copyright status of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. If you don't indicate the copyright status of the image on the image's description page, using an appropriate copyright tag, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided copyright information for them as well.
For more information on using images, see the following pages:

[edit] Hey there.
Just a note: did you know that you can use italics without using html coding (<i>TEXT</i>)? You can instead just use two apostrophes in place of the coding. For instance, typing something like this: I ''am going'' to go to the store will appear as: I am going to the store. You can read a little more at Wikipedia:Tutorial (Formatting). Hope this helps! See you around. --LV (Dark Mark) 13:56, 24 July 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Image copyright problem with Image:ElectoralCollege1960modernizedcolors-Large.png
Thank you for uploading Image:ElectoralCollege1960modernizedcolors-Large.png. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the image. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.
If you created this image yourself, please look at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#For image creators, select one of those tags, and add it to the image. To do that, simply go to Image:ElectoralCollege1960modernizedcolors-Large.png, click "edit this page", and add the appropriate tag. Be sure to remove the current tag indicating a lack of licensing!
If you have any questions, please feel free to ask me at User talk:Angr or at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. —Angr 20:17, 7 February 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Death Valley record low
Someone changed the record low for Death Valley to 0 and I deleted it because I knew it was wrong right away. I didn't know until I looked in the history that you had put the correct value there originally. So I restored the correct value, but I deleted the sentence saying that it is one of the largest temperature spreads in North America because it is definitely not ... almost any place located north and east of Death Valley will have a similarly large temperature spread, and getting larger towards the north.
