[edit] Regarding Ubeda

Please refrain from changing Ubeda to Úbeda until the result of the vote is known. If you want the article to use Úbeda spelling then please add your vote here on the Ubeda talk page. Mark 04:02, 23 October 2005 (UTC)

You have reverted the text of the Úbeda article six times within a 24h period. There is an ongoing discussion about the name of the article, and you are asked to refrain from unilateral action on this matter. You have violated the rule that follows here. The article will be reverted, and, if you change it back, you will be temporarily blocked from editing. Please do not keep undoing other people's edits without discussing them first. This is considered impolite and unproductive. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia under the three-revert rule, which states that nobody may revert an article to a previous version more than three times in 24 hours. Thank you. --Gareth Hughes 15:31, 23 October 2005 (UTC)
You have been temporarily blocked from editing for vandalism of Wikipedia. If you wish to make useful contributions, you are welcome to come back after the block expires. --Gareth Hughes 16:23, 23 October 2005 (UTC)

Indefinitely blocked (sockpuppet of User:Kolokol, created to evade 3RR). --Mel Etitis (Μελ Ετητης) 09:07, 25 October 2005 (UTC)

When editing an article on Wikipedia there is a small field labelled "Edit summary" under the main edit-box. It looks like this:

Edit summary text box

The text written here will appear on the Recent changes page, in the page revision history, on the diff page, and in the watchlists of users who are watching that article. See m:Help:Edit summary for full information on this feature.

When you leave the edit summary blank, some of your edits could be mistaken for vandalism and may be reverted, so please always briefly summarize your edits, especially when you are making subtle but important changes, like changing dates or numbers. Thank you.
