Talk:Crazy Monkey Boxing

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

I believe that a citation is needed for the assertion that the style is actually named after a monkey.

I have removed this

"The hands are held open, and palms are placed on top of the head with the elbows pointing upwards. This way, the elbows can be used to block jab and cross punches simply by "brushing" your head by sliding your hand backwards, slightly rasing the elbow. The stomach is kept sucked in, so that any body hits that get through will be less detrimental. The shoulders are kept shrugged to defend the sides of the head, and the chin is kept tucked to prevent hits to the jaw and neck. You can tell if the person is in the stance properly because they produce a "hunchback" like appearance.

The approach shares similarities with Mike Tyson's "peek-a-boo" stance. "

It is incorrects as it describes a stance used only while the opponent is throwing punches at you. See http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=njPgVLPTWZk&mode=related&search= and note what is said close to the beginning.
