Crawfordsville is located at 40°2'20" North, 86°53'48" West (40.038831, -86.896755)
It seems to me that it'd be more accurate to say that "a terrestrial point some 200m south-southeast of the Crawfordsville post office is located at 40°2'20" North [latitude], 86°53'48" West [longitude] (40.038831, -86.896755)". Or has someone determined that these coordinates approximate the geometric center of the sprawl that is Crawfordsville?
A latitudinal minute is about (about) a mile; a longitudinal minute (at Crawfordsville's latitude) is a little less. Unless someone were asking me to provide them with precise gunnery coordinates for some strategic target in the alley (the alley that would otherwise be called the Elm Street/Maple Court "corridor") between Wabash Avenue and Jefferson Street, I think I'd make them settle for 40°3' N and 86°54' W.

Jesus Movement is probably a poor choice of words here because it has a completely seperate connotation and I don't thing anybody has every seriously referred to Ben Hur as a novel concerning the Jesus Movement.--Isotope23 19:51, 26 January 2007 (UTC)
I'm certainly not going to argue with an administrator over something as insignificant as Ben Hur. I don't wish to start a revert war, so I'll leave the edit. I will just mention that the 'Jesus Movement' is not a separate connotation at all. It is the academic definition of Christianity before the Council of Nicea and arguably later, since Christianity is an anachronistic term. I was referring to the time period, not what people say about the novel, which is quite obviously 'Christian.' Best, ParvatiBai 20:22, 26 January 2007 (UTC)
- I was referring specifically to the fact that Jesus Movement is a name linked to a counterculture movement and that term could be seen as confusing in light of that fact, especially if someone came along and wikilinked it. I'm aware of the academic usage too, but I think if this got wikilinked it could be confusing to some readers. As an aside, when it comes to content differences, I am an editor just like you. My being an admin is not a big deal and content discussions with me should be treated as such. Just because I have a mop and bucket to clean up around here doesn't give me more status or clout than any other editor.--Isotope23 19:24, 29 January 2007 (UTC)
