Crazylegs Crane

Crazylegs Crane is a 16-episode made-for-television cartoon series produced by DePatie-Freleng Enterprises in 1978 for The All New Pink Panther Show on ABC. The segment is about the goofy yellow bird (voiced by Larry D. Mann) having such misadventures. Joining Crane in this zany animated comedy was Dragonfly (either as an ally or as an antagonist) and his son Crazylegs Jr. (both voiced by Frank Welker). This was his first big break after the regular appearances he made in the three DePatie Freleng animated comedies: Tijuana Toads/Texas Toads (1969-1972), The Blue Racer (1972-1974), and The Dogfather (1974-1976). His personality is similar to the popular Disney character Goofy. In the German series this character was known as "Dummvogel".
