Craven Stakes

The Craven Stakes is a Group 3 flat horse race in the United Kingdom for three-year-old thoroughbred colts and geldings run over a distance of 1 mile (1,609 metres) at Newmarket’s Rowley Mile course in mid April.
The race is one of the main trials for the Two Thousand Guineas run over the same course and distance at the beginning of May. It was first run in 1878.
