Cranberry Isles[1] is a town in Hancock County, Maine, United States. The population was 128 at the 2000 census.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 109.8 km² (42.4 mi²). 8.2 km² (3.2 mi²) of it is land and 101.6 km² (39.2 mi²) of it (92.50%) is water.
The land area of the Town of Cranberry Isles is comprised of five islands: Great Cranberry Island (with the postal designation Cranberry Isles, zip 04625), Little Cranberry Island (with the postal designation Islesford, zip 04646,) Sutton Island, Bear Island, and Baker Island. Only the first two islands have a post office, and year-round populations.

As of the census2 of 2000, there were 128 people, 60 households, and 31 families residing in the town. The population density was 15.6/km² (40.3/mi²). There were 344 housing units at an average density of 41.9/km² (108.4/mi²). The racial makeup of the town was 98.44% White, and 1.56% from two or more races.
There were 60 households out of which 18.3% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 41.7% were married couples living together, 5.0% had a female householder with no husband present, and 48.3% were non-families. 28.3% of all households were made up of individuals and 11.7% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.13 and the average family size was 2.77.
In the town the population was spread out with 18.0% under the age of 18, 3.1% from 18 to 24, 28.1% from 25 to 44, 22.7% from 45 to 64, and 28.1% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 46 years. For every 100 females there were 88.2 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 94.4 males.
The median income for a household in the town was $39,063, and the median income for a family was $49,688. Males had a median income of $29,688 versus $30,625 for females. The per capita income for the town was $23,873. There were 5.7% of families and 13.3% of the population living below the poverty line, including no under eighteens and 28.2% of those over 64.
