Craig Victory (born February 3, 1980 in Adelaide, South Australia) is a field hockey striker from Australia, who won the bronze medal with the Men's National Team at the 2000 in Sydney.
Victory, nicknamed Jiggy, made his international debut against New Zealand in the Oceania Cup in May 2000. He played his 50th international match against Poland at the 2002 Men's Hockey World Cup in Kuala Lumpur, where The Kookaburras were defeated in the final by Germany.
Back home Victory is playing club hockey for the Adelaide Hotshots in the Australian Hockey League (AHL), although he had a short spell with Dutch HGC from Wassenaar in the Dutch League called Hoofdklasse.
He got badly injured in the summer of 2005, when he was smashed in the face by Pakistan captain Muhammad Saqlain during the Hamburg Masters. Victory suffered a broken jaw and other facial injuries, and therefore had to miss the 2004 Summer Olympics. Saqlain was found guilty of deliberately raising his stick, and was suspended for three international matches after being found guilty of dangerous conduct by the FIH Judicial Commission.
