Craig Handley is a Welsh film writer. He was born in Merthyr Tydfil and attended Cyfarthfa High School.

He is known for making innovative, crowd-pleasing independent short films with microscopic budgets and fast schedules by industry standards. Handley is the oldest child of a Welsh family of Irish and American descent.

Handley shoots and produces his films in Merthyr Tydfil and Cardiff.

Craig Handley recently traced his family tree and discovered that he was a descendent of George Handley, Governor of the U.S. State of Georgia (from 1788) and delegate to the state convention that ratified the U.S. Constitution.
