Craig G (born Craig Morgan) is a rapper who hails from the Queensbridge housing project in Queens, New York, USA. Craig is best known as one of the original members of legendary hip hop producer Marly Marl's Cold Chillin' Records group the Juice Crew, which consisted of other legendary hip hop acts such as Big Daddy Kane, Kool G. Rap, Masta Ace and Biz Markie among others.

Craig G is widely regarded as one of the top freestyle MC's on the scene, his battles with fellow freestyle legend MC Supernatural have reached legendary status among hip-hop fans and enthusiasts alike. In 1994, Craig handed Supernatural the first major loss in his career, after producing a line which revealed Supernaturals true origin (Indiana) and a reference to pop culture in Mike Tyson. Craig appears on the 2000 documentary "Freestyle: The Art Of Rhyme" to discuss the battle and the controversy surrounding it.

In 2002, Craig wrote the majority of the battle lyrics from the hit motion picture 8 Mile in which platinum selling rapper Eminem played the lead in his big screen debut as a battle hungry rapper trying to make it out of his hometown of Detroit.

In 2007 he appeared with Polish rapper O.S.T.R. on his new album Hollylodz in song "Brother on the Run".
