Cracklin' Oat Bran

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Cracklin' Oat Bran is a breakfast cereal made by Kellogg's. The cereal is made of oat bran flavored with cinnamon and nutmeg, and held together by brown sugar in the form of a Squared O. The cereal is a good source of dietary fiber, as its first two ingredients are whole oats and wheat bran, but it contains a significant amount of saturated fat due to the use of palm oil.

One serving of Cracklin' Oat Bran contains 6 grams of dietary fiber, 4 grams of protein, 3 grams of saturated fat, and 200 calories.

The palm oil contained in the cereal, which gives off a unique flavor, is one of the factors that has contributed to Cracklin' Oat Bran's considerable worldwide popularity, especially in Russia and former Russian states.
