Crack Rocksteady is a musical genre coined by the band Choking Victim who started off in 1993 playing local shows in the famous C-Squat scene. In some cases it may also be called a form of Riot Ska. The name originates from the band Choking Victim's interest in smoking crack-cocaine. It features combinations of ska, punk, death metal and occasional orchestra.
