[edit] Articles for deletion

Hi there Cr0w bar. You're a pretty new registered contributor, and I see you're listing a number of articles for deletion. Some of them seem to be reasonable nominations for deletion, but others, such as Car Free Days and Unschooling are highly unlikely to be deleted. Perhaps it would be better if you spent some more time in the community before listing large numbers of articles for deletion. Also, I was a little confused by your edit to Radical feminism: it appeared to me to be the introduction of a spelling mistake, and turning the word "another" into an irrelevant link that redirects to Trace Memory. Please respond on my talk page letting me know if that was just a test, or what. Thanks. moink 00:54, 12 February 2006 (UTC)

That's a good question. The redirect doesn't make a lot of sense; apparently it comes from an old page move. The page was originally about a video game called Another. Nevertheless, we don't generally link random words in the text of an article. moink 01:15, 12 February 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Norma Candal

I recommend that next time you put an article up for deletion, you do your homework. Just because you don't know a person doesn't make that person a Non Notable. Norma Candal is a well loved comedian that is beloved by millions of Puerto Ricans and for us it is an insult that you have done this on the week that she passed away. Why didn't you write to the writer of the article and discuss it first? I am that writer and I am offended by your actions. I highly recommend that you retract from your nomination. [edit] CP Lacertae

Your edit message on CP Lacertae indicates you nominated it for deletion because it didn't tell you what "anova" meant. If you return to the page, you will note that it is a "nova" and the word "nova" is linked. Click on nova and it will bring you to the Nova article. After you check out this link, you may want to delete you AfD nomination. (If you choose to withdraw the nomination, do this on the Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/CP Lacertae page by a comment, not by deleting.) Thanks. —ERcheck @ 04:58, 12 February 2006 (UTC)

[edit] More re:AfD

Hi again Cr0w bar. I'm trying pretty hard to assume good faith, but some of your listings on Afd (most recently of the movie The Best Legs in the Eighth Grade, with a strange reason, Olympic athlete Evi Sachenbacher, and CP Lacertae without bothering to click on the link to nova) along with the fact that you haven't done any significant contributions before jumping into the AfD process (which is unusual for a newcomer), makes it hard to not suspect you're here to disrupt the encyclopedia. I would suggest, if you don't want to lead people to suspect you are a sockpuppet or a vandal, that you concentrate on editing in the article space for the first little while, and put off initiating AfD debates until you've had some time to get used to the Wikipedia process. moink 05:00, 12 February 2006 (UTC)
