[edit] Parameters
- Parameter 1: "quotetext" - text of the quote; use
<br /> between paragraphs.

The next two optional parameters can be used to provide attribution for the quote:
- Parameter 2: "personquoted" - Name of the person that wrote or spoke the text being quoted. Can include links.
- Parameter 3: "quotesource" - Source of the quote (publication title, speech, etc.). Can include links.
The last two optional parameters can be used to scale the graphical quotation marks up and down to suit larger or smaller quotes.
- Parameter 4: "quotewidth" - desired width of the quote image; defaults to 20px.
- Parameter 5: "quoteheight" - desired height of the quote image; defaults to 20px.

- Remove all named parameters. These are aliases that make maintenance of calls harder. Aliases are an obstacle for future migrations.
- Take the value of param 4 as a default for param 5. Thanks to that, if only one px value is given, it is interpreted as the size for both the width and the height of the marks.

- It appears the only difference is the order of the parameters. for cquote2, the order is text, name1, name2, px1, px2 while for cquote (which I think you call cquote1) the parameters are text, px1, px2, name1, name2. I hope this helps --Hari Singh 12:22, 11 September 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Odd Behavior
I could be completely crazy, but it appears I had to reverse parameters 2,3 with 4,5. See Swag for example. As soon as I noticed the discrepency I stopped editing and saved. Am I overlooking something obvious? /Blaxthos 21:43, 6 October 2006 (UTC)
