Cox 4 is a local cable-only station in Baton Rouge and Lafayette, which signed on the air around 2001. It provides local programming which reflects the diversity of Louisiana. The station airs programming in entertainment, health, education, sports, and Louisiana culture.

The station airs one local high school football game, televised live, in its "Cox 4 Game of the Week." A nationally award-winning program called "In School" showcases the various elementary and high schools in the Baton Rouge area. There are also programms that discuss academic and athletic issues associated with LSU and Southern University. During many mornings, the station airs a preview of a Cox Digital Cable channel. In addition, the channel offers online streaming of several of its programs and many of its games of the week.
