Talk:Cownose ray

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

"Another concern is the apparent increase of Cownose Rays in the bay. Evidence for this increase is lacking because rays are not included in the surveys of any fish management program. A large number of Cownose Rays would result in greater shellfish consumption. Also in an era when pollution, disease and overharvesting have decimated much of the shellfish population, increased predation by rays may pose an additional problem." I went ahead and deleted this paragraph since no changes had been made in almost a year. --BHC 22:58, 20 January 2006 (UTC)

"Another concern is the apparent increase of cownose rays in the bay." What bay? Presumably there is a major bay near the author's home; taken out of context, the term is less helpful. Wyvern 02:15, 2 Feb 2005 (UTC)
