"Cows With Guns" is a humorous "alternative rock" song by artist Dana Lyons from the album of the same name.
The song depicts a herd of cows, disgruntled with their lot in life ("eat[ing] to grow, grow[ing] to die") and spurred by one of their own ("the great cow guru"), rising up against the humans over them. The song, as well as a flash animation (developed by Norwegian animator Bjørn-Magne Stuestøl), have an official website, maintained by Dana Lyons, devoted to them.
