Covington Lake is a neighborhood located in Carolina Forest, South Carolina near Myrtle Beach. The neighborhood is home to about 250 homes and began in December 1996. The sixth and final phase opened in August 2003. A second development, Covington Lake East, is located south of the neighborhood and is a mirror image to the development.
