Covansys Corporation (NASDAQ:CVNS) is a global consulting and technology services company headquartered in Farmington Hills, Michigan. The Company specializes in industry-specific solutions, strategic outsourcing and integration services. Covansys was founded in 1985, and has more than 8,700 consultants and employees worldwide. It has six international delivery centers and 20 offices worldwide, which generated revenues of $455.5 million in 2006, an increase of 4.9% compared with the revenue of the fiscal year 2005. Covansys India Limited is a Wholly owned subsidiary of Covansys Corporation. Covansys India's head office is located in MEPZ Chennai. Its chief executive officer is K Subrahmaniam.

Two of the company's three wholly owned development centers in India are assessed at Level 5 in SEI CMM, all three are ISO 9001:2000 certified and assessed at Level 5 in PCMM, and five global facilities are BS7799-2:2002 certified. It has a fast growing ERP Practice based in Mumbai, India. One of the frontrunners in SAP implementations. Its Global ERP operations is headed by Pathamadai Srinivasan.

Covansys, for the second consecutive year, is ranked at number eight as one of the top ten best companies to work for in India,among all industries and companies that participated in the Mercer - TNS survey published in Business Today: Nov. 5, 2006 issue.
