[edit] Sock?
This may amuse you, but you've been accused of being my sock puppet (and also LGagnon's). Check it out: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User_talk:LGagnon#Your_Apparent_Sockpuppets
There is no further action needed on your part, as Checkuser will prove the accusation false. Just wanted you to know it happened, though. Al 18:10, 28 June 2006 (UTC)
- Thanks Alienus I appreciate the update. Tell me, is it that common for those trying to puch pro-Rand POV to assume that everyone who disagrees with them, and seems to know something about objectivism has to be a sockpuppet for someone else that they already despise? incidentally, how does one do a checkuser request, I am curious. --Courtland Nerval 18:33, 28 June 2006 (UTC)
I wish I could say that assumptions of bad faith are uncommon among Randists, but that would be a lie. There's really a lot of hostility there. As for checkuser requests, the page is WP:RCU, but you should not make use of it unless you have a strong and specific case. Al 18:45, 28 June 2006 (UTC)
- Thanks AI, I have not intention of running a checkuser, I just wanted to know how it was done. --Courtland Nerval 18:53, 28 June 2006 (UTC)
No problem. Al 20:13, 28 June 2006 (UTC)
