I believe this should be merged with Ruff (cards) since it is simply a method of using a ruff to tactical advantage and therefore belongs in an article on ruffing. In the same way trump promotion and uppercut are uses of ruffing to gain tactical advantage and also belong in the main article on ruffing. I don't see the problem with this as it creates a single point of reference for all queries on the mechanics of ruffing and how it is used tactically in bridge. In anticipation that others would naturally (in my innocence) agree with this thought, I have merged this article into Ruff (cards) but this has been disputed . Since I am new at this I do not want to cause dispute but I would like to know what others think on this subject. Abtract 18:14, 26 May 2006 (UTC)
