Cousin Joe

"Cousin Joe" Pleasant (birth name: Pleasant Joseph) (born December 20, 1907 died October 2, 1989) was a blues and jazz singer,(later famous for his 1940s recordings with clarinetist Sidney Bechet), who grew up in the fields of rural Louisiana.
