Courtenay Quarter

Courtenay Quarter is one of five quarters in Wellington, New Zealand. While primarily a tourist destination, these communities of common interest have used the boundaries to aggregate in various types; Arts, Archives, Specialist Shopping, Bars and Restaurants, Finance etc.

The other Quarters are:

Cuba Quarter

Willis Quarter

Lambton Quarter

Thorndon Quarter

Courtenay Quarter is contained within Te Aro and spreads from Mount Cook in the south to the sea in the north (The Waterfront bounding the Wellington Harbour). Also containing Courtenay Place, The Museum of New Zealand (Te Papa), and Waitangi Park, Courtenay Quarter is adjacent to Cuba Quarter on the western side, Lambton Quarter to the northwest, and Mount Victoria to the east.
