Courtenay Dempsey (born August 28, 1987) is an Australian rules footballer for the Essendon Football Club of the Australian Football League.
Dempsey was drafted at pick 19 by Essendon in the 2005 AFL draft, from the Queensland club Morningside. Of Aboriginal descent, he is highly rated for his speed and the amazing skill level that many fellow Aboriginal players have made their trademark.
