Court ruling

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

A court ruling is an official pronouncement issued by a judge, for example, in the context of a hearing, a trial or an appeal. The content and provisions of a ruling depend on the type of proceeding, the phase of the proceedings in which they are issued, and the procedural[1] and evidenciary[2] rules that govern the proceedings.
